RC Helicopter Buying Guide: Making Sure You Get What You Pay For!

If you are looking for a radio-controlled helicopter the most difficult question to answer is: "what should I buy?" Bear in mind that if you skip to answer this question then you might be ending up with a one time flying experience. Decision on what type of RC Helicopter to buy depend on you. But with a more reflective mind. RC Helicopter flying has become a better alternative to flying a real helicopter. It costs less and completely safe from crashing. But that is not all. RC Helicopter flying has become a hobby for those who have the passion on helicopters. When you have a bearing or something that needs to go into or onto something else but it would not slide on consider heating the outside thing and or cooling the inside thing. The cold will make it contract and heat make expand.

this is bad. Flight Sims: Will enable you to get going with FREE flight sims or commercial flight sims and controllers ranging from 19.99 - 129.99 these flight simulators can save you a fortune and some of them must be seen on 48" plasmas!. Make sure your throttle linkages are secure and set to idle before starting your engine or it may try and get you! If you have one of those short glow starters do not forget to take it off after you start the engine. Those things get hot when you try and remove them later and the battery dies too so that is your last flight if you forget.

you can get scale models such as FL 282- H-25- S-55- Rotodyne- Bo 102- H-1 Huey- Sea King or Mi-2. more orientations you must get used to. Just follow the entire manual to the 't' Do not get all excited when the heli is all put together you still have many hours of configuring / balancing / and adjusting everything. There is no greater feeling than flying on your own RC Helicopter. And this is totally possible wit a homebuilt helicopter. It is safe exciting full of thrill and most of all it is for everyone!.

If your helicopter banks yaws or pitches by itself you need to compensate with trim. Practice hovering from 6 inches to 1 foot. Be prepared for gusts: wind will increase the effectiveness of your rotor blades and make your helicopter climb fast. What happens when you crash the RC Helicopter? In a light crash (bad bounce off a hard surface) you might break the landing gear and a couple other things in a average crash (lands on it's side) the first things to go are the main blades the tail boom the main shaft the flybar. Do not forget to put the frequency crystal back into the tx after you have been using it with the CSM Simulator (since the tx batteries last 10 times longer without the crystal installed) it is a real drag to go to the site and just as you are ready to start-er-up you notice you do not have a crystal in your tx. Turn the wind up to 10 mph and repeat all the above. Turn the turbulence up to 10 mph and repeat all the above. Practice flying from left to right back and forth then practice flying in and out without hitting or flying over yourself.
